Go behind-the-scenes on a project that incorporated classic design elements with a modern twist.
A classic waterfeature also was constructed using cast-in-place concrete methods. The feature is built over a fully waterproofed underground bunker. The client wanted to view the waterfeature from their kitchen and enjoy the various options included in the design. In the evening, the 20-foot reverse vanishing edge takes on a shimmering glow, and a bronze statue, similar to the one featured in the pool, is bathed in light. Foam jets on an independent variable-drive pump are accented with LED lights. The entire waterfeature is illuminated by 15 lights in three zones. Mini sheers also cascade from the wall on an automated valve.
