It’s our favorite time of year — design awards season.

Each year, in our Masters of Design issue, we recognize 10 pools and spas of all formats, including concrete, fiberglass, vinyl, and others that have impressed the judges most. And in the case of the concrete category, those judges hail from the design education group Genesis.

We’re putting the finishing touches on our coverage of this year’s projects but, in the meantime, we thought we’d share some of our favorites for the past five years — one for each year.

This year’s honorees will be revealed in our August 19 issue.
