John Fletemeyer, Ph.D, and Deborah Tomlinson, in partnership with the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, have released a video stressing the importance of diving mask safety. Tomlinson's 6-year-old-son, Christopher, drowned after his mask filled with water and he panicked.

"The video honors the tragic fatal drowning death of Christopher, a little four year old boy that drowned while wearing a mask that didn't fit and that flooded causing him to panic," says Fletemeyer, executive director of the Aquatic Law & Safety Institute. "I continue to be amazed that diving masks are sold as toys and are so dangerous, especially to children. I believe that this deserves national legislation and at the very least, warnings on every mask."
