Side Mic is a uni-directional microphone made specifically to listen to vertical areas in a pool. This includes light niches, conduit, side suctions, returns, and structural cracks, among others. Users are able to hone in with increased accuracy on the areas in question, making leak sounds more crisp and identifiable.
