The judges have spoken. Each year, a panel selects outstanding products from the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo Showcase. These are divided into two categories: Best New Product and Best Green Product. The panel evaluates them based on innovation, productivity, cost effectiveness, sustainability/greenness and overall value to the industry. Winners were announced on November 3 at the Expo and received certificates at their booths and ribbons on their displays.
Best New Product
1st Place: LaMotte Co. — Water Link Spin Touch
The new analysis lab is designed for use by retailers, onsite pool operators and service professionals. The photometer is made to measure all tests needed to obtain perfect water chemistry in 60 seconds.
2nd Place: Ramuc Pool Paint — Ultra Pro 2000 Low VOC Commercial Rubber Pool Paint
The product is formulated for commercial use on concrete or plaster pool and spa surfaces. It doesn’t require primer and can be applied over other chlorinated rubber pool paints or bare surfaces. It meets VOC compliance in all states.
3rd Place: Evosus — Evosus Analytics
This management platform for the pool and spa industry helps streamline business, point-of-sale, service scheduling, accounting, inventory management, job costing, marketing, reporting and leads.
Best Green Product
1st Place: CMP — Brilliant Wonders 4-inch LED Bubbler and LED Waterfall 2
This product is developed for a 1.5-inch LED light, with a new beam-focusing lens for maximum brightness in a compact, energy-efficient size. It features a waterproof Quick-Disconnect IP68 cord and Smart Sync technology.
2nd Place: Advasol — Advasol Water Soluble Film for Harsh Chemicals
The new line of patented films is designed for water-soluble dosing of chemicals. They can package chemicals and products that were thought in the past to be too harsh for its method of packaging.
3rd Place: Waterway Plastics — Variable-Speed Swim-Spa System
This-system features energy-efficient, two-speed pumps for swim spas. Its NEO 2100 control system and a variable-speed distribution unit allow variable flows at a low cost. Users can adjust jets simultaneously, with up to six swim speeds.
