Aladdin Equipment Co. of Sarasota, Fla., has purchased the rights to the SkimSaver Lid’L Seal, SkimGuard and SkimmerDoor winterizing products from JEDCO Products Inc. of Zelienople, Pa. The deal was finalized in May 2015.
The SkimSaver Lid’L Seal and SkimmerDoor fit standard aboveground and inground skimmers, making it possible to drain the skimmer rather than the pool, to prevent freeze damage to the skimmer. The optional Lid’L Guard prevents items such as floating toys and candles from entering the skimmer during swim season.
As company officials note, the purchase places Aladdin solidly in the ever-growing category of winterizing products and provides one more tool for growing their business in the Midwest and Northeast pool markets.
Established in 1950, Aladdin has long been known for its quality pool and spa replacement parts. The new products will be offered as part of the Aladdin product line and can be added to orders to make freight.
