Coverings, a trade show dedicated to ceramic tile and natural stone, takes place this year March 30–April 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. Instruction will be presented in various modes, including technical presentations, partner-led sessions, dialogue-driven Q&As, and live demonstrations.

Among the educational offerings, the  event will include sessions on color and design trends, as well as several courses tailored to architects and designers and accredited by the American Institute of Architects.

A highlight will include, “Building Hope: A Conversation with Gary Sinise, NTCA, and NSI on Serving Veterans Through Skilled Craftsmanship.” In this session, scheduled for April 1, 8:30–9:15 a.m.,
actor Sinise and leaders from the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) and the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) will discuss their collaborative work through the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence, Supporting Empowerment) program, which constructs custom-built, specially adapted mortgage-free smart homes for the United States’ most severely wounded heroes and recently marked a major milestone with the dedication of its 100th smart home.
