The National Swimming Pool Foundation, based in Colorado Springs, Colo., has just released an online course for pool owners. “Home Pool Essentials” is a two-hour session that covers specifics such as how to prevent pool accidents, respond to aquatic emergencies, maintain a pool and/or spa, and keep water chemically balanced. The course costs $19.95 and includes a 30-page reference guide.
