The National Plasterers Council will offer its popular Start-Up Certification training online. The course, expected to debut in early 2019, will include an online training module and test. Students who pass the exam will receive a certificate.
In-person courses, taught by NPC instructors, will continue to take place at major trade shows, the organization said. More information can be found at npconline.org. The training addresses how to start up a pool in the best way to preserve the interior finish. It qualifies for eight continuing education units from APSP. Certified individuals who also are NPC members will be listed in a consumer search function on the association’s website.
“This new program will allow the NPC to reach many students who may otherwise never have a chance to attend a live education event,” said NPC Chairman Lee Valenzuela. “Its popularity will enable the NPC to take its education curriculum to rural and International markets.”
