Presidential Pools, Spas & Patio has announced it will now provide virtual reality (VR) design services.
After working with a designer to create their new backyard, customers will have the chance to put on a VR headset and take a tour of the space. According to the Arizona builder, the headset will offer a 360-degree view that reacts to customer movements and allows them to interact with the design before signing a contract.
The company believes this new customer experience will help people better visualize a project before construction begins.
“After testing, we knew we had to invest in this technology,” said Tim Murphy, owner of Presidential Pools. “It’s just like you stepped out of your back door and started looking around the yard -- except it’s displaying your dream, rather than your reality.”
Presidential Pools will offer VR services free of charge to customers at all four of its Arizona showrooms in Gilbert, Scottsdale, Surprise and Tucson. However, customers are urged to schedule appointments in advance, since space is limited.
