Pool Builder Honored as Aquatics Power Professional

Every year, PSN's sister publication, Aquatics International, honors 10 individuals who have had a significant influence on the aquatics industry. They are featured in the annual "Power Issue," always a mix of facility operators, scientists, safety advocates, instructors and others who promote the health of the industry and, more importantly, its customers.

This year saw the inclusion of Bruce Dunn, the rare case of a residential/commercial pool builder to receive the honor. This came about largely because of another distinction he holds -- the first pool builder to serve as chairman of the National Swimming Pool Foundation.

Plenty has occurred with the association under Dunn's stewardship - but the majority of progress has followed a theme. Read on to learn more about the impact made by the president of Mission Pools in Escondido, Calif.
