After five straight months of disappointment, the U.S. Leading Economic Indicators Index rose slightly in March. According to revised numbers from The Conference Board, the latest index reading is 102.0, up 0.1 percent from February’s 101.9. Positive contributors in March included money supply, index of supplier deliveries and the interest rate spread.
