Innovative Water Care, Lonza’s former water-care business, has changed its name to Sigura.
The company said Sigura is an appropriate name, as it means sure, safe and secure.
Earlier this year, the 90-year-old business was detached from Lonza as a stand-alone company focused on water-quality products.
“As we look forward to the next chapter of our collective journey, it was important for us to select a name that reflects our past, while providing a platform for future growth for our employees, customers and strategic business partners,” said Sigura CEO Robert Baird.
