Recent staff changes at the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals are geared toward enhancing members’ service and its standards writing.
APSP named Patrick J. Giambalvo Jr. as vice president of business development. He joined APSP from InfoComm, where he served as the director of membership, education and certification development at the association for the audio/visual industry. Giambalvo will helm ways to promote member retention and growth, education opportunities and other business development strategies.
Carvin DiGiovanni was promoted to vice president of technical and standards and is tasked with leading APSP’s global standards writing efforts. He was named the 2014 International Code Council’s Affiliate of the Year, recognizing his work to create the International Swimming Pool & Spa Code.
