The first-ever Hayward Business School will be held at the 2013 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo in Las Vegas. The classes will provide top-level business education in a pavilion on the show floor, across from the Hayward Pool Products booth (No. 800).
The instructor lineup includes a business professor from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a number of consultants specializing in a variety of business-related fields. Classes are slated for Tuesday, Nov. 12, through Thursday, Nov. 14.
There’s room for 60 students per class, noted Bruce Porter, director of marketing communications at Hayward. He said the company decided to sponsor this free educational series because “Hayward is always looking to give back. It’s so the trade in general can better understand all the nuances to running their businesses to increase their profits.
“The sessions are priceless with regard to the information you’ll take away,” Porter added.
For their part, Expo organizers were pleased to be able to offer business education of this caliber. “We are excited to be partnering with Hayward,” said Tracy Garcia, CEM, show director of the IPSPE. “Hayward is known for its quality and commitment to excellence with its products and services offered to the industry. We invite you to join us in an incredible lineup of business sessions designed to improve your business.”
Those interested in attending will soon be able to access the course schedule at the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo website. Registration is not required; attendees’ badges will be scanned at the entrance.
