During an awards ceremony October 18 in Atlantic City, the Northeast Spa & Pool Association named the winners of its 2013 Outstanding Achievement Awards.
This year several dozen companies submitted nearly 200 entries for the Builders and Service Competition categories.
Among the winners was Ridgewood, N.J.-based Cipriano Landscape Design, which took home the Judge’s Choice Best of Competition Award for a pool shaped like a violin.
“From year to year, our members continue to outdo themselves with the incredible work that they do as builders and service professionals,” said NESPA President Kyle Chaikin in a press release. “Once again, the quality of the competition was taken to a new level. Our members never cease to amaze with their incredible projects and the exceptional service provided to their customers.”
This year the awards program was revitalized to reflect today’s pool and spa industry. NESPA introduced a new name for the Awards Programs as well as updated the categories and judging criteria.
The Outstanding Achievement - Builders Competition recognizes NESPA members whose installation of pools, spas, hot tubs and water features represent the best examples of the industry’s products. The Outstanding Achievement - Service Competition recognizes NESPA members whose quality of service and repairs is also paired with a high level of customer service.
