APi has promoted Matthew Ribar to vice president – retail sales, and hired Joel Borzotta as its Northeast business manager.
Before taking on his new role, Ribar was at the APi mid-America office outside Austin, Texas. Since 1993, he has been involved in various aspects of the pool industry: Previously, he worked for retailer Pinch A Penny, then was on the chemical team for distributor PoolCorp. Now with APi for five years, Ribar has served middle America and parts of Canada in the industry’s chemical sector for more than a decade.
New team member Borzotta is a 14-year-plus industry veteran, specializing in the retail and service sectors. He took over Dave Stuart’s Northeast territory. Stuart still works for APi as vice president – commercial sales.
APi is based in Jupiter, Fla., and manufactures water care products such as E-Z POOL, E-Z SPA, REVIVE!, REVEAL and PEPPER.
