Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) is making inroads into other product categories.
Clear Comfort, a manufacturer whose AOP systems incorporate hydroxyl radicals for sanitizing pools and spas, has recently entered into two collaborations.
Last week, Jacuzzi Hot Tubs announced that Clear Comfort AOP systems would be made available on some of its models.
"Leveraging the market-leading Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) with hydraulic systems found in Jacuzzi hot tub products, spa owners will experience smooth and refreshing water that is more reliable," the firms said in a press release. "In addition, these two leading approaches allow spa owners to see clearer water with less need for managing chemicals, draining and refilling."
Earlier this fall, Clear Comfort teamed with chemical supplier Innovative Water Care, formerly Lonza, with which it has begun to create an "integrated solution to deliver high-quality water care," that includes Clear Comfort’s AOP systems and Innovative Water Care’s calcium hypochlorite solutions.
"The recent introduction of Innovative Water Care’s unique line of residential calcium hypochlorite tablets and feeders including the poolife® Exclusive Pool Care Collection NST® Feeder is a perfect complement to Clear Comfort’s proven and simple AOP solutions," the companies said in a press release.
