After two new acquisitions, National Pool Partners says it is the largest pool/spa service company in Arizona.

The service-firm consolidator, which began last year, had already purchased Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Aquaman Pools, which became NPP’s hub for the state. Last month, it announced the acquisition of two more Phoenix-area companies — X-Pools of Scottsdale, and Tropical Water Pools of Gilbert. Both now will assume the Aquaman brand.

These transactions bring NPP’s customer list to more than 5,500 pool stops in the Grand Canyon State, the company said.

X-Pools Founder Michael Dennis becomes NPP’s customer acquisition manager in Arizona, charged with maintaining and enhancing Aquaman’s new-customer onboarding and service processes. “This industry has given me so much and I’m excited to be able to focus on what I’m most passionate about in my new role with NPP,” Dennis said in a press release.

Ian Hanley, who founded Tropical Water Pools in 2005, will exit the company to focus on other companies he owns. “This exit was a great opportunity because I could ensure the team I built will be taken care of and provided opportunities to grow while I’m able to focus on my other endeavors,” he said.
