The National Retail Federation — the Washington, D.C.-based lobbying arm for retailers across the country — gets it. Brick-and-mortar businesses are the cornerstone of its base.

To that end, the speakers at this year's NRF Annual Convention & Expo — Retail's Big Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York Jan. 11-14 will address topics pertinent to retailers today that might interest pool professionals:

Brick is the New Black: Reinventing the Brick-and-Mortar Experience
Unique and Distinct: The New Customer Experience
The New Digital Divide
Commerce in the Age of Flux
Retail's BIG Fast Track Program: Retail That Rocks!

Oh, you're not going to be in New York at the trade show, but you're still interested in these topics? The NRF will be replaying one new complimentary session every two weeks on its replay site. Currently, viewers can watch one of last year's keynote topics, A New Era of Value: A Conversation with Ginni Rometty. Read More
