Three pool companies have been ranked on Entrepreneur's Franchise 500.
America's Swimming Pool Company (ASP), with a reported 254 franchises, ranked 101st on the annual list. This is a slight boost for the cleaning, repair and renovation company, which placed 113 last year.
Poolwerx, the Australian retail/service franchise that entered the U.S. market in 2015, debuted on the list at 183rd. With U.S. headquarters in Dallas, it currently has 30 franchise locations.

"This is yet another strong indicator of our capability as a global brand as we continue expanding in the highly competitive North American market. American Leak Detection, based in Palm Springs, Calif., placed at 363. The company, which reported 140 U.S. franchises, ranked 292 last year.
According to Entrepreneur, more than 1,000 franchises applied for the honor.
The magazine scores companies based on its Five Pillars of the Franchise 500: costs and fees; size and growth; support; brand strength; and financial strength/stability.
