Tara Manufacturing has been named the 2016 PoolCorp Vendor of the Year. The organization was chosen from over 800 active vendors, and the honors were based on factors, such as on-time delivery, inventory discrepancy, warranty resolution and the impact the vendor has had on PoolCorp’s year-to-date results.
Tara received the Vendor of the Year Award at PoolCorp’s annual International Sales Conference, which brings vendors together with managers and sales representatives from the company’s 350 distribution branches in 12 countries. Marshall Richardson, Tara’s president and founder, along with Ron Shults, vice president of sales, were called on stage at the opening ceremony to accept the award. In his acceptance speech Marshall proclaimed that “the success of our business is based on building relationships.”
