Retail/service franchise outfit Pinch A Penny Patio and Spa is expanding its presence in Georgia.
The Clearwater, Fla.-based company recently opened its newest franchised location in Thomasville, its second in the state. The Pinch A Penny name adorns another store in the southern edges of the Peach State, that one about 50 miles away in Valdosta.
Husband and wife Mike and Susan Ingram, first-time Pinch A Penny franchisees, took on the Thomasville location by purchasing an existing independent pool store and converting it. Mike Ingram comes with a background in finance.
So far in 2019, the franchise has opened three new stores in Texas, an Florida and Georgia. It continues to identify Georgia as a key in its aggressive growth plans, along with Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina and Florida.
Pinch A Penny has more than 250 locations across the Southeastern U.S. and Texas.
