A Chilean inventor has developed work gloves that will protect a worker’s hands from cuts and punctures.
The Mark VIII Safety Gloves by Jorge Sgombich are available in four models that are constructed out of materials that range from kidskin to leather to nitrile, which feels like latex, but is much stronger. They are designed to protect the hands from serious work-related injuries.
The gloves feature shatterproof thermoplastic material that covers the tops and tips of the fingers, allowing the fingerpads to maintain their sensitivity. Fingers are effectively protected from cuts, punctures, and crushing.
Sgombich’s invention won a gold medal at the 2016 Invention & New Products Exposition in Pittsburgh in the “Safety and Security — Personal” category.
