The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance is looking for additional members of its Standards Consensus Committee.
Known as the SCC, this committee serves as PHTA’s official consensus voting body, responsible for reviewing and voting on all pool, spa and hot tub standards mean to be submitted to and approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Members are classified as one of four interested categories: Producer, User-Government, User-Consumer, or General Interest. Participants in PHTA’s standards development process include subject matter experts such as public health officials, architects, engineers, consultants, product manufacturers, representatives from other organizations, and individuals with expertise or interest in advancing the pool and hot tub industry.
Openings are in the Producer, User-Government, and User-Consumer categories. Those interested must complete a form and submit it by Feb. 17, 2023.
