National Pool Partners, the Orlando, Fla.-based national service roll-up that entered the industry in January, has hired a dedicated mergers and acquisitions staff charged with increasing its footprint. The company also recently acquired two more Texas locations for its network, and has had one of its operations recognized by Inc.
Both of the newly acquired locations come from the Austin area: O’Neill’s Pools of Lakeway, Texas and Longhorn Pool Service of Austin. Both will now operate as Patriot Pool & Spa, the local NPP brand. Amy and Neil Engelmann, former co-owners of O’Neill’s Pools, will remain — the former to lead NPP’s business development initiatives in the Lone Star State, the latter as branch manager in Lakeway.
Michael and Tamberly Hurosky, co-founders of Longhorn Pool Service, sold their service operation to focus on construction and renovation.
Two other business development personnel will join Amy Engelmann to lead the company’s mergers and acquisitions. Justin Kuperberg now serves as chief development officer, while Zac Atkins as business development manager for Florida.
Kuperberg holds more than two decades of senior executive experience with large medical groups such as Spectrum Vision Partners and Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, where he was most recently employed. He has implemented more than 90 strategic acquisitions since 2011, according to NPP.
“I’m thrilled to be working alongside experienced pool professionals to make the selling process a simple and exciting transition to our NPP family,” he said Kuperberg.
Patriot Pool & Spa, its Austin, Texas, operation, was recently named by Inc. as one of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
