A recent autopsy report confirms that a 62-year-old-woman, who contracted Legionnaires’ Disease after staying at The Guest House hotel in Memphis, Tenn. in June, died as a result of the infection.

The Commercial Appeal reported that Linda Gail Godsey passed away just a few days after she and her family returned from their stay at The Guest House, and Godsey's family has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the Guest House, Elvis Presley Enterprises, owner of the hotel, and Pyramid Tennessee Management.

The pool and hot tub at The Guest House, which is located near Elvis Presley’s iconic home, was shut down by health officials in June over concerns that the facilities might be linked to several cases of Legionnaires' Disease.
