A rash of pool pump thefts that plagued residents in Palm Springs, Calif. may have finally come to an end.

Last month, police arrested two men who allegedly stole more than 30 pool pumps from backyards over a period of four months, according to authorities.

Luther Harvey Davis III, 41, and Richard Marek, 24, were taken into custody on separate counts of suspicion of drug possession, felony possession of a firearm and ammunition, suspicion of giving false information to a police officer and having outstanding felony warrants.

A search warrant revealed a stash of pump and pool equipment, high-end bicycles and 10-grams of methamphetamine and a loaded shotgun.

According to a news release, the thefts began in October of last year.
