Three recent acquisitions are expected to strengthen Hayward Pool Products’ positioning in the technology market.
Parent company Hayward Holdings recently purchased SmartPower and SmartValve, both of which offer cloud-based technologies. The former produces an LED lighting controller, while the latter makes a fluid management system. Both work with Hayward’s OmniLogic system and help simplify installation, the company said.
Hayward also acquired Water Works Technology, which manufactures sheet waterfalls as well as water bowls in resin and glass.
“These three businesses complement each other and further extend Hayward’s leading Smart technology solutions to increase the ambiance of the pool, spa and backyard,” said Kevin Holleran, CEO of Hayward. “They are perfect examples of harnessing new technology to deliver sustainable, energy-efficient solutions to our space.”
