The Independent Pool and Spa Service Association has hired a new management company and executive director.

Cramer & Associates of Rocklin, Calif., will take over handling of the group. Rose Smoot will serve as executive director. She is a Certified Association Executive with Cramer & Associates and has handled IPSSA's financial management for several years, said IPSSA President John Oldfield.

With the move, the organization expects to place a priority on aggressive growth.

Lester Management Services of Seal Beach, Calif., had been the association’s management firm since 2002. Amy Nijjar was executive director since 2012. “Vicky [Lester] and Amy at Lester Management have done an exemplary job over the last 15 years,” said Oldfield, also president of Oldfield Inc., in Gilroy, Calif.
