Hot-tub owners in some U.S. markets have a reason to hope for rain or snow on Christmas day.
Aqua Living Factory Outlets, a hot-tub manufacturer and retailer, has launched a holiday promotion that promises a full refund for certain hot tubs if it rains or snows 1/2 inch or more on Christmas.
To qualify, the hot tubs must have cost more than $5,000 and been purchased between Dec. 3 and 21 at one of Aqua Living's 48 locations.
The deal also applies to all its swim spas.
“We are looking forward to this exciting promotion and to refunding many customers who get to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime event,” said David Hatley, CEO of the Johnson City, Tenn.-based company. “While we don’t anticipate this happening in the majority of our markets, we do expect and look forward to it happening in many of them."
