Pool/spa equipment and products manufacturer Fluidra began designating a day to celebrate the work of pool industry professionals three years ago, and this time around it plans to celebrate with two social media contests.
Celebrated every year on September 7th, Fluidra International Pool Pro Day "recognizes the countless hours of hard work pool professionals put in to deliver endless memories and enjoyment to pool owners," the company said.
The social media contests will be held for different segments of the industry -- one for pool retail and distribution employees, the other for service technicians and pool builders.
Entrants are to submit their work with Fluidra products. Those who stock shelves and assist customers at the counter can submit a snapshot of a display showcasing any of Fluidra’s family of brands. Those who install or upgrade equipment can post a photo of a Jandy pool pad. These entries will be judged by their peers who have experience with equipment pads.
The contest begins August 1st and winners will be announced on Fluidra International Pool Pro Day, September, 7th.
