Degrii, a Meno Park, Calif.-based maker of battery-driven pool robots has entered into a strategic partnership with Best Water Technology Group (BWT), a European maker of water-treatment technology.
The companies say the arrangement will develop the worldwide robotics pool-cleaner market and bring new innovation and value to their customers across the globe.
"This partnership, introduced live at the Piscine Global in Lyon, perfectly combines the strengths of both companies –- to offer unmatched water technology competence and unique battery pool robotics solutions," the companies said. "In this cooperation, worldwide leading technologies by BWT meet with R&D know-how in battery robotics of Degrii."
The partnership will utilize BTW's sales and service network, as well as its brand development and marketing strengthen with its more than 5.800 employees worldwide, the companies said.
