With a retirement announced, Bullfrog Spas is undergoing a leadership change.
After 12 years, Jerry Pasley will step down as chief executive officer of the Herriman, Utah-based hot-tub manufacturer. He began with the company in February 2011 as its CEO. Before that, he served as executive vice president of Jacuzzi Group Worldwide for 17 years.
Bullfrog credited Pasley with guiding it during unprecedented growth and innovation.
“We look forward to an exciting future as we continue to build on the strong foundation he has laid,” the company said in a press release.
Pasley at one time served on APSP, one of the predecessors of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, both on the Hot Tub Council and on its Board.
“For more than three decades, Jerry Pasley has been a luminary figure in the industry, contributing significantly to the success of not only Bullfrog Spas but also several of the spa industry’s most notable brands,” the company said. “His accomplishments have left an indelible mark on the industry landscape, and his legacy is rich.”
Pasley will remain on Bullfrog’s board of directors, serving as executive director during the transition.
In Pasley’s place, the company has promoted Dan Sjoblom from president to CEO. He joined the company in 2009 as a retail sales manager and has held several titles, including vice president of marketing, senior vice president and executive VP before becoming president.
“[He] has lead efforts in marketing, sales, retail, product development and operations, demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic acumen and a deep understanding of the industry,” the company said. “His promotion is a testament to his focus, leadership and ability to drive innovation and inspire excellence across a growing organization.”
