This month, Gladon Company, a St. Louis-based provider of swimming pool products since 1971, acquired Fiber Clear, a maker of cellulose-based pool filtration media.
Gladon said the acquisition is meant to strengthen its commitment to delivering products that improve pool installation, maintenance, and water quality.
“Integrating Fiber Clear’s advanced filtration technology into our lineup allows us to offer an even more comprehensive range of products that prioritize performance, safety, and sustainability,” said Mike Polizzi, President of Gladon Company.
Fiber Clear introduced cellulose fiber media in the early 1990s, according to Gladon. “The acquisition will enable expanded distribution and continued innovation under the
Gladon brand,” the company said.
Gladon Company, headquartered in St. Louis, has been inventing and manufacturing swimming pool products since 1971. The company distributes worldwide.
Fiber Clear provides natural cellulose fiber filtration media, meant as a non-toxic, biodegradable alternative to DE for swimming pools and spas.
