Poolmaster Introduces New President, Sweepstakes

Sacramento, Calif.-based manufacturer Poolmaster Inc. has appointed a new president to take the place of company owner Lee Tager, who held the position since the company’s founding in 1958.

Nora Davis, formerly the company’s vice president, has been promoted to the top position. She is a member of the company’s board of directors and has more than 30 years of industry experience.

Tager continues on as chairman of the board.

The company also announced the winner of its Stanley Race Day Experience Sweepstakes to promote its Stanley PoolTec line of maintenance products.

One consumer was chosen to win two grandstand tickets at a race in Homestead, Fla., the opportunity to meet the driver of the No. 9 Ford Fusion, Marcos Ambrose, a tour of the garage, pit road and no. 9 hauler, travel and accommodations and racing memorabilia signed by Ambrose and fellow driver Richard Petty.

Retired Air Force Master Sergeant Ian Pritchard was the lucky winner and will attend with his wife Cheryl. Pritchard is pictured at right, along with his pool dealer, Pat Walsh, president of The Above Ground Pool & Spa Co. in San Antonio, Texas.
