Haviland Pool & Spa Products, a chemical manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Mich., has promoted Misti Daly to the position of customer service manager. As chair of Haviland’s Customer Satisfaction Council, she also assists all sales and technical personnel in achieving customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Haviland, Daly worked for 16 years at a small chemical distributor in a number of positions.
Joanne McClain is editor-in-chief of Pool & Spa News and Aquatics International magazines. She was born and raised in Hawaii, where she grew to appreciate the beauty and safety of swimming pools after a hair-raising encounter with a moray eel while snorkeling as a child. Joanne lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son.
