Designed to filter tap, ground and well water, Pleatco’s PureStart Pre-Filters attach to hoses and capture dirt particles before it enters a pool. The disposable sediment filter cartridges provide filtration down to 5 microns, trapping elements such as magnesium, iron and calcium, thereby reducing the amount of chemicals needed when starting or rejuvenating a pool or spa. PureStart comes in two sizes, the smaller meant for spas, above ground pools and topping off large pools; while the larger is meant for service pros who manage everything from inground pools to sport facility pools.
