Pentair’s pool business, one of the so-called “Big 3” manufacturers of pool and spa equipment, will operate under a new leader.
De’Mon Wiggins, the executive vice president and president of Pentair’s Flow and Water Solutions divisions, added the pool business to his responsibilities.
Greg Claffey continues as president and chief revenue officer of Pentair Pool.
This change comes after the elimination of the EVP/CEO position for Pentair Pool. Jerome Pedretti, who held that role since 2023, departs the company effective July 1, after a tenure of more than 20 years He joined the company in 2005 and held various positions there. Before taking his current role, he served as EVP/president of Pentair’s Industrial Flow Technologies segment.
“Over more than two decades with Pentair, Jerome has made a significant and lasting impact on our Pool and Flow businesses through his leadership, deep expertise, and unwavering commitment to our customers and our culture,” said John Stauch, Pentair president and chief executive officer.
Wiggins joined Pentair in 2010 and has played various roles including president of Pentair Flow and group president of Pentair Pool. Before joining the manufacturer, he worked at several manufacturing companies for more than 13 years in various engineering and operational management roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and an MBA from Pfeiffer University.
Until March, he had served as EVP and president of Pentair Flow. In March, he took on the Water Solutions division as well, before beginning to also oversee the Pool division.
