Pentair Pool will open nominations September 1 for its 2026 Pool Pro Awards, recognizing pool industry professionals for their service, expertise, safety awareness, and leadership.
This year’s program, themed “Backyard Legends,” will recognize seven industry professionals across five categories, including the new Wave Maker Award for individuals considered influential or inspirational within the pool and spa industry.
Formerly known as the Perfect Pool Guy and Perfect Pool Gal contest, the annual program recognizes professionals who help keep pools in their communities swim-ready.
Awards will be presented to two winners in the Premiere Pool Pro and Lifetime Achievement categories, and one recipient each in the Unsung Hero, Safety Advocate, and Wave Maker categories. Unlike the other categories, the new Wave Maker Award is open to professionals from across the pool and spa industry, not only pool service professionals.
Nominations will be accepted from September 1 through October 19, with pool professionals able to nominate themselves or their peers. Voting will take place from October 23 through November 1.
Winners will be announced during a private awards ceremony on January 25, 2027, at The Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City, N.J. Additional information is available on the Pentair Pool Pro Awards website at pentair.com/en-us/pool-spa/pool-pro-awards.
