In 2001, swim clubs were being squeezed by insurance companies demanding exorbitantly high rates. Widerman & Co., an independent insurance agency based in Haddonfield, New Jersey, realized that private, seasonal, non-profit, community swim clubs deserved better rates and coverage than the insurance industry could deliver.

In partnership with Westco Programs, part of the Western World Insurance Group, The Swim Club Insurance Program was born to meet the unique insurance needs of well-managed, safety conscious swim clubs.
