With a recent acquisition, Sydney-based pool and water-treatment equipment manufacturer Waterco says it has become the largest Australian-owned and -operated entity in the water industry.
Last month, the company announced the purchase of Melbourne-based Davey Water Products, a subsidiary of GUD Holdings, for $64.9 million.
“The acquisition aligns with Waterco’s long-term strategic vision of becoming a global leader in the water technology industry,” said Waterco Founder, Executive Chairman and CEO Soon Sinn Goh. “It positions the company for sustainable growth and enables it to take advantage of emerging opportunities in the market.”
