The best advice I have ever received is: “Settle the claim.” I learned this from my family growing up in the insurance industry and I have carried this philosophy on to our pool business. It eliminates the need to determine who is right or wrong and just takes care of the customer. This philosophy has served us well over the years, and with the increased use of the Internet and social media, one unhappy customer can overshadow the experiences of thousands of happy customers with a few clicks of a mouse. —Tim Murphy

About
Presidential Pools' first pool was dug in 1991. Founder Murphy had spent the previous 10 years in the pool repair business and afforded him the opportunity to peek in many backyards and see many pool designs. That insight has led to year-after-year growth in Arizona.

For the past two years, we have offered customers complimentary educational sessions, known as “Pool School.” Pool owners can attend the sessions in an on-site classroom setting or stream it live from the privacy of their home. It’s a great opportunity to maintain our relationship with customers after their pool has been built and empowers them as pool owners.
