Industry veteran Robert Dixon of Glens Falls, N.Y., died June 29 at age 55. Over the course of 24 years, Dixon served as a sales representative for various pool manufacturers, including Waterlines Inc., Aqua Quest and most recently, New England territory manager for St. Petersburg, Fla.-based AquaCal AutoPilot Inc. Lauded in his field, Dixon was named the 1997 Nightscaping Lighting Designer of the Year and awarded Salesman of the Year by Zodiac. “Bob was an exceptional teammate for almost nine years,” said Don Detwiler, AquaCal AutoPilot vice president. “He brought incredible passion for the pool industry, AquaCal products and the Team Horner culture to his position.” Dixon is survived by his wife of 12 years, Cory; daughter Zada; and son Amari.
