An industry-leading pool and spa service franchise company has earned an honor acknowledging the strength of its business.
Macon, Ga.-based America’s Swimming Pool Company was ranked No. 53 on Entrepreneur Magazine’s recent list of the Top 100 Home-Based Franchise Companies in 2014, and ranked No. 197 on the overall list, the Franchise 500. It was the only pool franchise business to be ranked.
ASP franchisees previously have said ASP’s strong rankings on Entrepreneur’s lists was an attraction when they were looking for a business.
“With a little training in marketing and management, plus the support of our franchise team, we’re helping business-minded people achieve the success they’ve always wanted, without the need to acquire office or retail space,” said Stewart Vernon, CEO and founder of ASP.
To be eligible for the list, franchisers must have at least 10 units and be actively seeking more. According to the magazine, the most important factors are financial strength and stability, growth rate and size.
“We are truly honored to receive this ranking and recognition as a company and celebrate the success of everyone’s hard work,” Vernon said.
ASP now has 140 territories in 16 states.
