Fluidra, the Spanish multinational manufacturing group producing water treatment and pool products, has announced a new acquisition to add to its brand portfolio. The company, which has a production center in Jacksonville, Fla., now owns 90% of Piscine Laghetto, an Italian manufacturer of designer aboveground pools.
The companies worked together before the deal, supplying filters and pumps under the co-brand Piscine Laghetto powered by AstralPool. This working relationship is expected to continue, as Piscine Laghetto founders will keep ownership of the remaining 10% and remain in leadership roles.

Piscine Laghetto designs a wide range of pools made to add decorative elements to small environments such as gardens, terraces, rooftops or indoor spaces. This acquisition will allow Piscine Laghetto products, formerly centered in Italy and France, to be distributed across Fluidra’s global channels.
“Laghetto has more than 40 years of experience in the market,” said Josep M. Piera, manager of Fluidra’s Rest of the World division. “It will add to the portfolio of our international sales in the shape of a full range of upscale aboveground pools.”
