Manufacturing Futures Inc. which is based out of Shaker Heights, Ohio, bought the manufacturing assets of Wesco Fountains Inc. this past September. Wesco is an installer of architectural water features and is the second acquisition in the water feature segment by Manufacturing Futures. In February of last year, the company purchased Roman Fountains, based out of Albuquerque, N.M.

In a press release, president of Manufacturing Futures, David O’Halloran said, “Wesco’s long track record in the industry, its complementary customer list with that of Roman Fountains, and its experience working collaboratively with general contractors and subcontractors to install beautiful features cost effectively were the characteristics that brought us together:”

Wesco Fountains is a 30 year old business based out of Venice, Fla. Previously, it was led by owner and president Jeff Horvath, who will remain active with the company as a consultant.

The purchase of Wesco introduced some shakeups to Manufacturing Futures as well.

O’Halloran will serve as president of the manufacturing arm of the business. Janis Coquillard will become the majority owner and president of an independent company that is involved in the construction, installation and maintenance of water features. The plan is that the two companies will be collaborative.
