In the latest installment, The Final Destination, Nick O’Bannon has a psychic premonition that he and his friends perish in a stadium fire. He warns them in time, and they are able to cheat the grim reaper — but only temporarily.
As each survivor is picked off, we learn of all the terrible ways a person can die, ways that never would have occurred to us until the danger is depicted in living color.
One teen’s underwater end (which you will see toward the end of the trailer shown above) is particularly disturbing considering the attention pools have received lately in the media. To see the scene in full, catch the movie, which opens August 28.
