Bruno Cergol, a New York residential and commercial contractor died January 24 of leukemia at the age of 78.
Cergol's firm, East Northport-based BPF Construction, was founded with his brothers Gino and Frank Cergol. It offered commercial and residential construction services but specialized in home renovations, including the pool and patio.
In addition to working for celebrities such as Billy Joel, basketball star Chris Mullin, and baseball great Gary Carter, the company also renovated Studio 54, the famed nightclub frequented by Andy Warhol and other 1970s and '80s-era A-listers. Read More
