Pool Nation, the podcasters who expanded their company into one of the most popular educational entities for the pool/spa service industry, has opened a new 22,000-sq. ft. headquarters and multifunctional space.
Occupying an entire floor of a Dallas high-rise, the space is intended not only for the podcast and Pool Nation courses but also for sponsors, members, and others as a teaching and meeting place. Programs that formerly took place at vendor sponsors’ facilities, such as Heritage Pool Supply, AquaStar Pool Products, and Raypak, will move to the Dallas headquarters, chosen for its central location in the continental U.S.
“We wanted to have a place where Pool Nation is not just an entity, a thing, or a community of pool pros, but a place where we can plant our flag down and call home,” said John Flawless, a co-founder of Pool Nation and president of J&J Flawless Pools in La Quinta, Calif.
It contains two studios—one for the podcast and another for videos the team creates for its educational app and online programs. Classrooms of various sizes will host educational sessions by Pool Nation, as well as by sponsors, vendors, and other organizations. Some sponsors have small exhibit spaces where visitors can learn about products and meet with vendors.
Pool Nation was founded in 2020 to help the service industry elevate its collective business acumen. It made its mark by addressing business-related topics for pool/spa service companies. While business courses remain the group’s specialty, it has expanded into technical subjects as well.
